The French Saddlebred is considered a light riding horse and found throughout France. The breed was developed in the 1950s.

1) Halfbreds: Charentais, Charolais, Corlais, Vendeen and Anglo-Norman Horses

Note: A horse having only one Thoroughbred parent is called a Grade Thoroughbred in the United States and a half-bred in Great Britain.
